ALTAR CREATIVE is looking for inspired, motivated and adventurous game developers and artists to join its new media and interactive content production team.

We are a creative agency specializing in creative marketing content for video games. We work with game-makers to explore and expose their game worlds through engaging and immersive creative marketing. We are also creators and producers of new media content focusing on novel, experimental and interactive ways of telling stories.

Exploring game worlds is our dictum and working at Altar Creative means working in a close-knit collaborative team of creatives, developers and marketers. It also means working with highly talented and passionate people in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. 


As a LEVEL ARTIST you will work closely with our Art Director and our level design team to define, prototype, iterate and produce the design, geometry and texturing of our project’s interactive environments. You will also oversee prop creation and a selection of other key game assets.


  • Work closely with the project’s Art Director to help define and benchmark the projects visual style.

  • Create outstanding 3d environments within the visual framework defined by the project’s Visual Bible.

  • Create high-quality, efficient assets while ensuring a consistent art style is maintained across the game.

  • Collaborate with the level designers, technical artists and programmers to maintain technical performance requirements.

  • Additional lighting and visual effect experience would be a big plus.


  • Thorough level art and 3d composition skills.

  • A minimum of at least two (2) years of professional real-time development experience.

  • Ability to create high quality, real-time ready, efficient, 3D assets and level composition.

  • Strong understanding of Photoshop and industry standard modeling software (Maya, ZBrush, etc).

  • Working knowledge of the real-time art pipeline and workflow.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in an intimate, small-team based environment.

  • Ability to take and address feedback from Art Director and others leads within the team.

  • Autonomous, driven and comfortable within an agile, small-team development process.

  • Passionate about video games and creating novel gaming experiences.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a creative, quality-focused environment.

  • Experience with Unity and Unreal are a big plus.
