ALTAR CREATIVE is looking for inspired, motivated and adventurous game developers and artists to join its new media and interactive content production team.

We are a creative agency specializing in creative marketing content for video games. We work with game-makers to explore and expose their game worlds through engaging and immersive creative marketing. We are also creators and producers of new media content focusing on novel, experimental and interactive ways of telling stories.

As an ANIMATOR you will work closely with our Creative Director and AI Programmer to define, prototype and produce the behavioural animations of our project’s main character. You will also oversee non-player character animations and a selection of other core game animations.


  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and AI Programmer to help define the project’s animation style and benchmarks, by contributing to animation prototypes. 

  • Assist in animation behaviour system design and crowd life simulation.

  • Create compelling AI characters behaviors with clear creative vision, utilizing both key framed and motion capture techniques.

  • Be proactive in identifying animation related issues and apply creative problem solving.

  • Respect the delivery deadlines of the project.


  • 3D Animation training or experience a must.

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience as an Gameplay\AI Animator in the videogame industry.

  • Experience working with state machines inside game engines and creating animation state-graphs.

  • Working knowledge of all stages of an animation pipeline. Ability to take an animation from conception to production, integration, debug, and polish.

  • Comfortable with both keyframe animation and motion capture editing.

  • Good knowledge of animation software such as Maya, Motionbuilder, or equivalents.

  • Autonomous, flexible and comfortable with small-team development pipeline.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a creative & quality-focused environment.

  • Passionate about video games and creating novel gaming experiences.

  • Experience with Unity and Unreal are a big plus.

  • Experience in Motion Capture and behaviour staging are a big plus.
